My niece transferred to antoher kindergarten during mid of this year.
At the start, when we ask her if she like the new environment, she would answer, "i love school."
However recently, her pregnant teacher went away. I am not sure to give birth or take rest.
She began to come back and tell us her teacher doesn't like her.
We all thought it was just her throwing tantrums.
And we didn't think too deep into it.
Not long ago, we were informed that she was taken out of the school concert.
(After we had paid for the costumes and looking forward to see her dance)
It was not a suggestion to take her out. It was plainly telling us their final decision.
The current teacher told us that she was not up to it.
After making our stand, the teacher then put her back in the school concert dance.
A week later, she fell down in the school's toilet.
She came home with a blueblack on her left cheek.
It was huge, I can say about 3 inch long.
She says that no one came to her rescue when she was on the toilet floor crying.
We approach the principal the next day.
She told us that the kids there are very independent and go toilet themsleves.
She says if my niece did not came back and inform them, they will have no idea that she had fell down.
My first question is : You didn't hear her cry? Your school area is not big.
My second question is : The blueblack is huge. You didn't see?
We will be pleased even the teacher had inform us that she had fallen.
At least we do get an idea of it. Rather than discovering it oursleves.
Here comes to the part which makes us all flare up.
However, i cannot feel the anger anymore. I am sad.
On the day of the concert, the little kids were to fall in at 3pm to doll up, change to costumes and practice.
Of course, my niece went too.
At 7pm, her parents went to the school, hoping to see their daughter dance.
She was nowhere to be found.
Her dad went to the backstage only to find her sitting at a corner alone.
When she saw her dad, she shouted, "Daddy you came to save me!"
Every little kid is prepared with make up and performing costumes.
She's the only one with no makeup and still in school uniform at a corner.
She wasn't allow to go toilet for that 4 hours.
She was there looking at all her friends practicing, making up and dressing nicely.
She was there alone the whole 4 hours.
I can't believe this how teachers treat a 5 year old.

I don't know how she's going to grow up with this unpleasant memory.
I do hope she can forget about.
However, we can't.
i was typing this post, i can't help to tear.
Do you know how heart broken this is?
and o you know how adorable my niece is. you all should.

Yeah .... its very sad. It broke my heart even though I view myself as being strong willed.

Thats why I didnt hesitate to f the school teachers upside down. Cos it was simply absurd and unthinkable.

However take heart that your niece was strong and she didnt cry. Yet was able to force a smile to greet me and enjoy herself when she did get to sing.

One conclusion I drew is that my daughter has grown up. And have put up with the challenges she has met so far. Thunmbs Up!

This entry is very depressing to read. Did you guys take any action? What the Kindergarten did to your niece was absolutely appalling. Their teachers are braindeads for even thinking that kids are 'independent'. Excuses and that's very lousy one.
